Pennina Barnett writes about contemporary visual culture, with a focus on textiles. She is Founding Co-Editor of the journal Textile, Cloth and Culture (Taylor & Francis, UK). Barnett was formerly Senior Lecturer in the Department of Art, Goldsmiths, University of London, where she taught in undergraduate Fine Art and Textiles and was responsible for the Critical Studies component of the BA Textiles (1989–2011).
